Upcoming Talk – Beyond Borders at Ryerson University

Omar Ha-Redeye will be speaking at the Beyond Borders event at Ryerson University on October 25, 2012. His focus will be on international law and human rights in the provision of health services, especially in the context of armed conflicts and military invasions.

Beyond Borders: Making Your Mark Internationally

Building on the success of our 2011 Alumni Panel ‘What I Wish I Knew’, we’re bringing together another 4 outstanding alumni who have used their Ryerson experience and education to make their mark internationally.

Hear their stories, learn from their experiences and be inspired by their dedication to improve the lives of others on an international scale!

Each of our panelists has a unique story to tell!

From coordinating emergency relief during Indonesia’s tsunami, caring for children dealing with traumatic life experiences in Africa, leading students volunteering in South America, implementing micro-credit programs in Kenya, or using sport to bring about positive social change, Emma, Dani, Morgan and Omar bring a wealth of knowledge and understanding to issues impacting those beyond our borders.

Join us for an evening dedicated to honouring incredible alumni “making their mark”!
