2017 Julius Alexander Diversity Moot

Omar Ha-Redeye judged the Julius Alexander Diversity Moot, hosted by the Black Law Students Association of Canada (BLSAC), on Feb. 3-4, 2017.

The case was based on the Court of Appeal’s 2013 decision in R. v. Allison, which upheld the trial level judge’s decision to not exclude the evidence on the basis of s. 24(2) of the Charter.
