SABA 2010 Annual Gala and Awards

The South Asian Bar Association of Toronto hosted its 2010 annual gala and awards at Le Meridien King Edward Hotel.

The keynote speaker was The Honourable Ujjal Dosanjh, P.C., Q.C., M.P., former Attorney General and Premier of British Columbia.

Recipients of the awards this year included Poonam Puri, Raj Anand, and Emir Aly Crowne-Mohammed.

Omar Ha-Redeye’s paper, A Trial to End All Terrorism: How the United States Could Have Won the War on Terrorism Before it Even Began, with the Trial of Only One Man is included in the selection on pages 109-131 of the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues, Vol. 1, No. 1, April 2010.
